hair trends spring 2016

New York Fashion Week showed fabulous Spring Hair Trends for the upcoming bright season. The styles are much more versatile this year. Whether you have short, long, dark, or blonde hair; there is a style for you to try.
The hairstyles are simple this season and can be easily replicated at home. Good news for those who aren’t professional hair braiders, like myself!  Refer to this article from Harpers Bazaar for more details on these looks.
Here are the latest and upcoming trends:
Natural Look – Messy Textured Hair:

This “come as you are” look will be big for Spring. You can achieve this look with long or short hair, and your haircut doesn’t really matter. Wear this look with the Boho vibe, Utility, or even bold colors this Spring.
Refer to this link from Daily Makeover for instructions how to achieve this look.
Twist in the back – Textured low bun:

I love this messy bun! Especially because it’s low and can work with long or short hair. This look will be beautiful with Spring pastels and lace. Add some long colorful earrings for a Boho vibe or even short studs for a classy look.
Refer to this link from Style Noted on how to achieve these messy buns.
Accessories:

The runway at New York Fashion Week featured models with beautiful adornments throughout their hair. You can pair beaded, flowered, or laced accessories with most trends for Spring 2016 to create a stylish Spring look.
Long bangs – Long Bob Straight:

The bob is still in style as Taylor so perfectly showed us at the recent Grammys. Long bangs are back, but wear them straight or messy. If you just want to try bangs, maybe look for “she bang” hair extensions which will give you temporary bangs so you are not stuck growing them out in a month. Be sure to keep your ends straight for this look.
Tight Braids:

This look is different from last seasons loose messy braids. Pair these tightly woven braids with the Utility look this Spring. Maybe a leather jacket, black, or camo green.
Wrapped Back in Ribbon:

I love this romantic look for Spring. These ribbons will pair perfectly with soft pastels, floral, and lace. I may try this with a Spring lace dress in a perfectly Spring color.
Color:
According to Blackhair Club’s recent article on Spring Hair Trends for 2016, the following colors are going to be super hot for the new season.
Rose Gold and Strawberry Blonde Tones:

What are your favorite Hair Trends for Spring 2016? I may try the Soft Ombre for color because I love how natural it looks. The Low Messy Bun for sure. And also the Messy Textured hair because it seems very easy.
