favorites of the month – November 2018

I can’t believe November is already over! This time of year just flies by. I’ve had a very busy month with the Holiday Overtime hours, but I’ve also discovered some great products to tell you about. Take a look below and let me know what you think!

Jade Roller for your Face

Greg and I took a two night, one day mini vacation mid November and we stayed in a nearby shopping/restaurant district in Austin called the Domain. We had an amazing time!! We did some shopping, had great meals together, and even had a couples massage and facial.

I haven’t had a facial in years! I love the way my skin feels afterward, and I love knowing it is super clean. At the end of my facial my aesthetician used this Jade Roller to gently roll and massage my face. It felt amazing! She explained to me that using the Jade Roller is great to not only rub in your product, but also decrease puffiness and drain your lymphatic system in your face. The Jade is always cold. ALEX AND ANI

While my husband and I were shopping at the Domain that weekend, we also stopped in a store called Alex and Ani. I have seen some of their jewelry before but didn’t know much about it. I was instantly in LOVE. Alex and Ani specializes in charms for the individual. They have beautiful jewelry and you can personalize it to fit your uniqueness. I chose their signature symbol The Path Of Life charm which means Strength Knowledge and Motivation. Most of their bracelets are bangles but I chose the pull chain bracelet. AG Dry Lift

A hair stylist at Ulta recently recommend this AG Dry Lift product for me to use as a Dry Shampoo. I was skeptical at first but she assured me it was amazing. I gave it a shot and I’m so glad I did! This stuff works! I use it on day three of my hair and I’m able to get by a whole extra day of not washing. It feels a little like gum, but it gives your hair that extra body it needs and soaks up any excess oil. I’m hooked! Also AG hair products are all natural which is an extra bonus. ALTAR’D STATE

We had our family pictures this month and I was in a frenzy trying to find something for me to wear. I had outfits for the whole family and nothing for myself. My idea was a hunter green dress but I couldn’t find one anywhere. I had been to Altar’d State once and I remembered they had dresses so I decided to try it again. Score! I remembered correctly, they had a TON of dresses to choose from. The staff is super friendly, and the sales lady helping me recommended this rose color dress instead of green to coordinate with Malori’s dress. It turned out great! Altar’d State is definitely my new favorite clothing store. They are a Christian store and they also sell home decor, jewelry, shoes, and fabulous clothes!
