choose to fail up without giving up

Lindsay Teague Moreno says this 👆🏻 in her new book Boss Up! and it got me thinking about all of my “failures” (and there has been a lot!)

I use quotes around failures because I’ve never thought of them that way. I always just thought of them as trying new things and learning. But each time I wouldn’t succeed at an idea the knowledge I took with me helped me level up to my next idea.

That’s not a failure…that’s momentum. I love how Lindsay puts it, “fail up.” Just because your idea didn’t work, take all of that knowledge that you gained and try something else.

It feels truly magical when you can take all of your “failures,” start something new, and then realize you have all kinds of previous knowledge to help you in succeeding.
